Amazon’s “Amazon Now” service launches in Delhi, India

July 10 news, Amazon is accelerating its layout in India’s ultra-fast delivery market.

Following the launch of the “Amazon Now” 10-minute delivery service in Bangalore in June 2025, it has now expanded to parts of Delhi.

The service, available through a dedicated App portal, offers free delivery on orders over 199 rupees (approximately $2.92), focusing on instant delivery of fresh produce, groceries and daily necessities.

Amazon plans to expand the service to more cities after improving operations in Bangalore and Delhi, directly targeting local competitors such as Flipkart.

This expansion marks Amazon’s official entry into India’s quick commerce track, which may reshape the country’s e-commerce logistics landscape.

 

 

“Amazon Now” is an instant delivery service launched by Amazon, aiming to meet consumers’ demand for rapid product delivery. Its main features and service details are as follows: Delivery Timeframe: It offers fast delivery services, with delivery speeds varying in different regions.

For example, in Bangalore, India, it promises delivery within 10 – 30 minutes. In some areas, 1 – 2 hours of delivery can be achieved, and in some places, even within 1 hour. Service Coverage: The service coverage is gradually expanding. In India, it has expanded from Bangalore to parts of Delhi.

In Dubai, UAE, it covers the main areas. In the United States, it encompasses nearly 100 major cities and metropolitan areas. Product Categories: It provides a wide variety of products, including fresh food, daily necessities, medicines, toys, selected electronic products, etc., basically covering consumers’ daily needs.

Membership and Fees: It is usually only available to Amazon Prime members. In some regions, members can enjoy free delivery when purchasing products over a certain amount (such as orders in India reaching 199 rupees, 25 dirhams in Dubai, and 35 US dollars in the United States).

When the minimum consumption amount is not reached or a faster 1 – hour delivery service is selected, additional delivery fees may be required.

The 1 – hour delivery fee is usually around 10 US dollars. New users can register for a 30 – day free trial, and students can also become members at a discounted price.
